Nicole Brandolino, mezzosoprano - vocal technique workshop
Nicole Brandolino is a mezzosoprano from Turin, she starts her musical studies with the soprano Susanna Rigacci, favorite voice of Ennio Morricone and takes her musical degree at the Giuseppe Verdi Conservatory in Turin, Italy. She then takes lessons with the baritone Umberto Ginanni. She starts her career at a very young age, debuting in Shanghai as a soloist, in Turin for the XVIII Europa Cantat Festival conducted by Federico Maria Sardelli, at the Carlo Felice Opera House of Genoa besides Leo Nucci and the conduction of Roberto Rizzi Brignoli. She inaugurates the Opera Season of Municipale Opera House of Piacenza, Alighieri of Ravenna, Comunale of Modena in the role of Beppe the gipsy in L'Amico Fritz by Mascagni, with the conduction of Donato Renzetti and the direction of Leo Nucci, getting great critics success for acting abilities, vocal timbre and easy vocal emission. Nicole Brandolino has been also acclaimed in discography: she has had already great collaborations, with the Academy Award Luis Bacalov and the Orchestre Philharmonique of Monte Carlo and the production Erato/Warner Classics "Fiamma del Belcanto" in which Nicole duets with Diana Damrau conducted by Gianandrea Noseda and the Regio Opera House orchestra of Turin. She is winner of the V edition of the international lyrical singing competition Salvatore Licitra.
